What do we mean by that?

Let us give an example:

Thus, Edward Munch’s painting, while from an artistic perspective expresses strong feelings of despair and hopelessness. However, if we observe it through the lens of science, it becomes an object of analysis, examination and knowledge, where we notice wavy forms which resemble sound waves of low or high frequency.
